Cord Blood Collection Kits are supplied by Private or Public Cord Blood Banks and include all the items needed for conducting the collection and samplings.  These samples are isolated for shipping the blood in a controlled temperature and provide a shake protection to the laboratory (usually in a different Geographical site).

Therefore, the packaging of the Kit should be isolated (using polystyrene, Styrofoam, sponge or gel).

The Collection Kits are basically identical and are of 5 main parameters: The package; Documents & Barcodes; Cord Blood Collecting items;  Mother blood sampling items (optional); Baby blood sampling items (optional).

The Collection Kits may differ in:

·         The packaging:  Small / big; plain / outside design printed for the specific bank; with / without isolation

The SituKits are supplied to our customers customized and packaged according to their specification guidelines and include the SituGen Kit.
